The Brief

  • 01 Drive MP engagement with the 2025 Modeshift STARS Awards

  • 02 Secure high-quality targeted press coverage

  • 03 Provide strategic support across public affairs and PR

Fusion supported Modeshift in delivering a high-impact, public affairs and media strategy for the 2025 Modeshift STARS Awards. We prioritised tailored outreach to MPs whose constituencies included nominated or winning organisations, providing them with the opportunity to attend, share messages of support, or issue statements.

Having MPs support the awards helped raise the profile of the STARS Conference and fostered local relationships for each site involved. It was great to get a variety of support through MP attendance, written statements and follow-up engagement after the event.

In parallel, We also supported Modeshift’s press activity for the conference. With a series of tailored releases for each winning organisation. These highlighted the impact of the projects and included quotes and images where possible. Coverage appeared across trade, regional and local media, helping raise the profile of the awards and celebrate the work of the winners in their local areas.
