When Shimano Europe sought to explore urban mobility initiatives, Fusion seamlessly created and orchestrated the Future Cities campaign. Culminating in the transformative redesigns of Glasgow's historic Central Station, Bilbao's iconic La Salve bridge, London's Marble Arch and Berlin's Karl Marx Allee.

To tie in with UCI Cycling World Championships in August 2023 we selected Glasgow as a ‘Future City’, turning the iconic 1879 Central Station into a pedestrian and cyclist-friendly hub by minimising vehicular traffic.

Adept project management, amplified by a successful public vote via social media, meant this initiative not only garnered robust support from influential stakeholders like Bike for Good but also fortified Shimano’s reputation as pioneers in sustainable urban development, positioning Fusion as the go-to agency for innovative cityscape solutions.

“We are very proud to be unveiling the second stage of our Future Cities project this year, in line with our mission to promote health and happiness through the enjoyment of nature and the world around us.

“After consulting with local people through social media polls, we wanted to create a bold and innovative vision of the area outside Glasgow Central Station. Through our ongoing campaign, we have created an alternative vision of the future where our cities are healthier, safer, and ultimately more enjoyable places to live.”
