Adam founded Fusion Media in 2007 from a passion for cycling and the media. Over the last ten years, he has successfully grown the company to lead the way in communicating cycling and endurance sport to the mainstream.
Adam was a former national level racing cyclist and has also worked as a freelance journalist, contributing to cycling and national publications, including BBC News during London 2012.
He is husband to Aurélie and father to twin boys, Léon and Rémi. When he gets the chance, he likes to go for a run.
Wiesia is a keen racing cyclist, competing regularly at events like the Tour Series. She has a 1st Class degree in Sports Management and 12 years of experience within the sports industry. V (as she’s known to colleagues) heads up Fusion’s account management.
V was nominated in BikeBiz’s Woman of the Year 2015. She completed The Transcontinental, an autonomous bike race across Europe, in August 2017. V was rider 53 and rode a total distance of 4,271km with total climbing of 52,559m,
Guy works with the agency with a focus on further developing our European offering as well as lending us some of his wider business experience as we continue to grow.
He brings a wealth of international commercial experience. He was CEO for DHL’s Supply Chain business in Northern Europe, a business generating in excess of £1 billion turnover per annum, working extensively in Germany, Benelux, Scandinavia and The Baltics, amongst others.
Guy also has a detailed knowledge of the cycling industry in its widest context. Opting out of mainstream business life in 2013 to pursue a keen interest in cycling, he joined SweetSpot to establish The OVO Energy Women’s Tour, which since its inception in 2014 is regarded as one of the premier events on the women’s international calendar. He is Race Controller on both the OVO Energy Tour of Britain and the OVO Energy Women’s Tour.
Andy is an Olympic 1500 metre finalist. He has represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games (in Beijing and London), two Commonwealth Games, multiple World and European Championships and is currently the parkrun World Record Holder.
Andy is our Head of Operations. He leads the agency’s operational performance, as well as our growth in running and endurance sports.
As well as his prolific running background, he has a strong skillset in sports marketing. In addition to a career in professional sport, Andy also has a double first and a Master of Engineering from Cambridge University.
Iain heads up our digital team and has a wealth of experience working for search performance agencies and fast growing start ups. Utilising his background in SEO, content and social strategy, Iain aims to narrow the gap between traditional PR and digital by creating cost-effective, measurable and creative campaigns.
As a keen adventurer and triathlete, Iain has completed Ironman Switzerland, cycled to Paris in 24 hours and climbed the world’s tallest single standing mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro.
Ruth works on day-to-day PR activity in the UK. She has over 5 years experience in the sports sector and has worked with brands such as Lucozade Sport, Red Bull, ASICS and Optimum Nutrition. She’s a great communicator and relationship builder.
Ruth is a keen hockey player, but can usually be found in a spin class or at a pub with a G&T in hand.
Ben manages the day-to-day PR program for a range of clients across the UK and Europe. Having grown up racing on both the velodrome and the road, he employs a sound knowledge of endurance sport with strong media-relation skills to help clients grow their reputation.
Prior to joining Fusion Ben worked within financial communications, helping some of the world’s largest asset managers to communicate effectively with investors, employees, policy-makers, regulators and the wider public.
Nick manages the day-to-day PR activity for a range of our clients. He joined Fusion from a background in broadcast PR and news generation, and prior to that worked for a number of years in the music industry, including 5 years spent at Sony Music. As a keen cycling fan, Nick is a member of some influential road cycling collectives, and can often be found spinning around London’s parks.
From runner to triathlete to racing cyclist, Sam has been involved in sport in one form or another from a young age. Having sat on the committee for one of the UK’s largest cycling clubs, Sam is a well known face at a grass roots level.
He joined Fusion from an advertising role at Bauer Media.
Emily runs our social media content strategies, using her passion for both cycling and photography. A trained Photographer, Emily is highly creative and responsible for the look and feel of the brands we work with on social media.
She comes from a cycling family and lives and breathes the sport.
Following an early career in TV production, Sean has embraced the world of PR and digital media. Taking on a diverse role at Fusion, working across both the PR and digital teams, Sean supports the rest of the team in research, reporting and community management.
He has jumped between endurance cycling, trekking and running over the past 5 years and has raised more than £25,000 for charity through self-organised events both in the UK and around Europe.
In addition to cycling, Sean has completed the Brighton, Richmond and Manchester Marathons over the last 12 months.
Dawn is a PR specialist with experience working on consumer brands, both big and small. Her skill set includes developing PR strategies, pitching ideas and campaigns to the media, planning and managing press events, copy writing, and social media content creation.
When she’s not drafting press releases, Dawn loves attending spin classes at the gym, sipping red wine, and singing nursery rhymes with her little boy…not all at once, obviously!
Harry is a PR Account Executive and works across a range of endurance clients. He is a keen track and field athlete and cross country athlete. He was the captain of Loughborough University’s cross country team and earned a scholarship to compete in the NCAA Division 1 for Eastern Kentucky University.
When Harry isn’t running around the countryside, he can be found fuelling his addiction for coffee and dabbling in a bit of reading.
Aurélie has an International Business Management Degree and 17 years experience working in France and the UK in the fields of efficiency, business process reengineering and events management. She is also a qualified Sports therapist specialising in endurance sports; she was part of the London 2012 Athletes Medical Team and has visited 17 countries, working with British Triathlon to treat professional and age groupers in the ITU World Triathlon Series.
Aurélie was an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer until life as a mum of twin toddler boys took its hold. She is still a keen horse rider.
Aurélie is responsible for the successful running of Fusion’s office, managing all our financial, HR and administration functions, to ensure that we meet all our client and legal responsibilities.
Alec is a criterium racing specialist, cycling coach, DJ and all-round-nice-bloke. He works with Fusion on campaigns and creative concepts, supporting the wider PR and digital teams on client briefs.
He races the fixed gear crit scene around the globe for Specialized / Rocket Esspresso and has his own road crit team Tekkerz, who aim to promote ‘Cycling Charisma’, and for some reason, heavily feature Dinosaurs on their kit.
Duncan is a talented photographer and videographer and works with Fusion on a regular basis on behalf of clients’ creative projects. He works in Manchester, London and on the road, usually chasing cyclists, in Europe.
Stuart is a leading London-based advertising and campaign photographer. Working with Fusion since 2008, he’s our go-to guy for brand, campaign and press photography. He has photographed the England Football Team for The FA, worked with Channel 4 and regularly works with Men’s Health. He has twice held the Guinness World Record for the most amount of Malteasers thrown into a mouth from a distance in one minute. Seriously.
