4th with broken wrist
From Cycling Weekly.co.uk

PREMIER Calendar Series leader Russell Downing crashed while racing in Norway on Sunday and has broken his wrist.

The Pinarello RT ace crashed after around 50 kilometres of a 140-kilometre event, but climbed back on his bike and continued to finish an eventual fourth. His team-mate Malcolm Elliott was fifth.

It gets better and better and posted by fonzy
I'm glad to say I was there, with the wife and daughter to watch what was a truly awesome display of bike riding, not just from Russ, but also from big brother Dean.

From the 1st lap I knew that a Downing would be top of what is a very talented pile.

The quality of the modern day cyclist, British cyclist I might add, is so much better than it used to be. British cycling is certainly on the way up and that makes Russ' victory in Lincoln all the more special.

From the very beginning he looked calm, collected and in control. The disappointment of America is now a very distant memory.

For us who love to watch bike racing, it's a privilege to have him back, and we look forward to the rest of the season.

Can anybody stop him winning the Premier calendar?

Not when he's in this form.

Photos will of course be added to the gallery shortly, but for the time being some fantastic photos can be found at the link below.
